The IBSAT 2025 registration for MBA/PGDM admissions is now open at ibsindia.org and will continue until December 19, 2025.
The IBSAT 2025 exam will be held on December 27 and 28, 2025.

IBS Bangalore Admissions 2026
To apply for IBSAT 2025, start by registering and paying the Rs 1800 application fee. Next, take the IBSAT test or submit scores from CAT, NMAT by GMAC™, XAT, or GMAT™. Note that IBSAT is an online remote-proctored test. After the test, wait for the results announcement. If shortlisted, you will receive an invitation to the selection process at the IBS campus, which includes Micro Presentation and Personal Interview rounds. Finally, upon successful completion, you will receive admission confirmation and campus allocation.
The admission to IBS Bangalore, MBA and PGDM program happens through IBSAT. IBSAT is a Computer Based Test (CBT) and consists of multiple-choice questions. IBSAT is a two-hour exam designed to gauge a candidate’s proficiency in quantitative methods, data interpretation, data sufficiency, vocabulary, analytical thinking, and reading comprehension.

IBS Bangalore Admissions 2026 Process for IBSAT
How to Apply
A single application form is used for admission to the MBA/PGPM programs across all IBS campuses and the PhD program at IBS Hyderabad.
The IBSAT Bulletin can be purchased for ₹1,800 through the following modes:
1. Online Purchase

Fill in your basic details and proceed to the payment page.

Once the payment is completed, you will receive a confirmation email.

The IBSAT Bulletin will be delivered within a week.
2. Marketing Offices

You can also buy the IBSAT Bulletin directly from IBS marketing offices by paying the fee in cash.
Eligibility Criteria
MBA / PGPM Programs
-
Graduation in any discipline with 50% or above, with English as the medium of instruction.

Minimum 15 years of education (10+2+3 or 10+2+4).

Final-year students may apply, provided all graduation requirements are completed by May 31, 2026.

All academic documents must be submitted by November 1, 2026, or admission will remain provisional.

Applicants who did not study in English medium must submit a TOEFL/NELT/IELTS score by May 31, 2026.

Eligibility verification begins August 2026, and meeting the criteria is the sole responsibility of the candidate.
PhD in Management
To apply for the PhD program, candidates must have:

Full-time Post-graduation in Management with a specialization in Marketing, Finance, HRM, or Operations and 55% or above from a UGC-recognized university.

Full-time Post-graduation in Economics, Commerce, Psychology, Sociology, Public Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields with 55% or above from a UGC-recognized institution (India or abroad).

Candidates under this category must complete first-year MBA courses as a prerequisite.

A professional qualification such as CFA/CA/CWA/CS with 55% or above.

Applicants not educated in English medium must submit TOEFL/NELT/IELTS scores by May 31, 2026.
IBSAT Admission Test
IBSAT is an online aptitude test conducted by ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (Deemed University under UGC Act Section 3).
