Training and Placement cell is formed under the chairmanship and able guidance of Prof. Shri R.P.Borkar, Principal of this institute. Prof. P.J.Gaidhane Instrumentation Department is working as Training and Placement officer. Invitations are sent to the prospective companies / organizations along with all relevant information to participate in the campus recruitment. Regular correspondence is maintained with various industries. Personal visits by the Training and Placement Officer, to companies also serves to build and maintain relations with the companies. The cell maintains a branch-wise record of all current appearing student sin the Final Year through the collection of their resumes. Based on the requirements prescribed by the company, the eligible candidates are invited for appearing for the test/interviews that are conducted by the visiting companies

Placements form an integral part of GCOEJ. At GCOEJ we ensure better placements for all by constituting a dedicated placement committee comprising of faculty and students selected after a transparent and impartial process. The college has a separate Training and Placement Cell. The Placement Committee consisting of one faculty representing each department decides the guidelines for the placement activity. Guest Lectures and Training Programmes are arranged for the students. We always endeavour to build such capabilities among the students in a systematic manner. The training and placement division has a focused approach to prepare students right from the second year of joining the college. We address two different aspects of students’ capability. Experienced teaching staff takes care of the technological abilities to recall knowledge gained during academics for application at work place and secondly the soft skills required which plays an important role in the industry today. We also have facilities within college premises for conducting campus interviews and these include those for presentation, conducting aptitude tests, group discussions and interview techniques. Sessions are also arranged on Resume Writing. Training and Placement division aims at specifically developing these abilities through planned training for the students. The institute looks forward to conducting such activities with the help of selected internal and external faculties. This training includes personality development, communication skills, and extensive exercises to inculcate analytical abilities empowering students to interpret data faster.
