DTU Course Admission 2024

DTU’s BTech admissions process relies on the results of the CUET UG exams, and the CUET UG exam dates for 2024 have already been announced. These exams are scheduled to take place from May 15, 2024, to May 31, 2024, with expectations of commencing in February 2024.

In addition to CUET UG, DTU also considers JEE Mains scores for BTech admissions. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has already published the exam dates for JEE Main 2024. Session 1 will be held on January 24, 2024, and February 1, 2024, while Session 2 is scheduled for April 1, 2024, and April 15, 2024.

For BDes admissions, DTU accepts UCEED scores, and for MDes and PhD admissions, CEED scores are taken into account. Registration for CEED and UCEED 2024 is currently open, with the application deadline set for October 31, 2023. The CEED and UCEED exams are slated for January 21, 2024.

As for MTech admissions at DTU, the eligibility criteria include CUET PG scores. The CUET PG 2024 exam is planned to occur from March 11, 2024, through March 28, 2024, and the online registration for CUET PG is expected to open in the first week of January 2024. Additionally, DTU accepts GATE scores for MTech admissions, with the application deadline for GATE 2024 (with late fees) closing on October 20, 2023.

Admission to DTU for the year 2024 is determined through a range of national-level entrance exams. DTU considers JEE Main scores for BTech admissions and GATE scores for M.Tech admissions. In addition to BTech and MTech courses, DTU provides undergraduate programs such as BBA, BDes, and BA Hons. For B.Des admissions, DTU assesses candidates based on their UCEED scores, while CUET UG scores are utilised for admission to BBA and BA Hons programs.

At the postgraduate level, DTU offers MBA and MSc programs, while doctoral-level candidates have the opportunity to pursue a PhD. DTU also facilitates lateral entry into its flagship B.Tech program and provides admissions under continuing education for working professionals. Candidates who wish to secure admission through lateral entry into B.Tech programs are required to participate in the university’s entrance examination.
