Kanpur University Admission Procedure

The admission procedure in various courses in Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University (CSJMU) in multiple disciplines generally starts tentatively in May every year.

The process begins by filling up the Kanpur University admission form online on the official website of the university. The payment for the application form can be made through Net banking/ debit or credit card or challan. 

Admission Highlights:

• All the candidates going for Kanpur University online registration for UG courses like BBA, BCA, B.Ed, B.Sc, LL.B, B.P.Ed, B.Li.Sc and BFA have to qualify and online entrance test conducted by the university. Whereas admission in B.Tech and B.Pharm will be granted based on a qualifying score in UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam) conducted by APJAKTU ( A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University).
• All the candidates applying for PG courses like M.Pharm, M.Sc, MA, LL.M, MSW, M.Ed, M.Li.Sc & M.P.Ed courses have to appear for an online test conducted by the university. Final admission for these courses will be based on counselling and document verification. 
• All the candidates for Kanpur University registration in courses like MD and MS courses have to qualify NEET PG with a valid score. Whereas admissions in courses like DM, M.Ch is based on NEET SS score. Admission in MBBS and BDS will be based on a valid score in NEET UG exam followed by university’s counselling process.
• All the candidates applying for admission in PhD programmes have to qualify CSJMUET entrance exam. The qualifying candidates have to go for an interview round before the final selection. Kanpur university admission last date for the PhD program is tentatively 15th August.

Candidates will have to carry Kanpur University admit card for sitting in the entrance test.
