CEPT University Scholarship

CEPT University provides various scholarships for deserving students. It is important to note that the university reserves the right to reject scholarship applications if the required supporting documents are not submitted by the applicants. The announcement of scholarships will be made along with the Admission Offer Letter, and the disbursal of the scholarship amount will take place after one month from the beginning of the semester/lectures.

Pre Admissions Scholarship (Means cum Merit):

This scholarship is awarded to selected students based on their eligibility. To apply for this scholarship, candidates must submit the online scholarship application along with the admissions application form. The eligible applicants will be informed about the assured scholarship amount along with the admissions offer letter. The scholarship provides a tuition fee waiver ranging from 25% to 75%. Students who meet the eligibility criteria can avail the Pre Admissions Scholarship (Means based). Please refer to the eligibility criteria below:

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates with a family income less than Rs. 10 lakhs per annum are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Recipients of the scholarship will continue to receive it for the entire duration of the program, provided they maintain a minimum 2 SGPA every semester and complete all courses in their first attempt.

Work-Based Scholarships:

Students are encouraged to take up work-based scholarships to gain practical experience and develop skills beyond classroom learning. These scholarships involve assisting faculty members in research and teaching activities or working in various university offices such as libraries, archives, laboratories, workshops, and student services. The specific requirements for these scholarships are provided by the respective departments, and payment is calculated on an hourly basis.

Documents Required:

  • Income Tax Returns of all earning family members for the last two years along with a copy of Detailed Income Computation (Financial Year 2020-21, Assessment Year 2021-22).
  • If the parent(s) is a salaried employee, provide a copy of Form 16/Salary Certificate issued by the employer for the last two years (Financial Year 2020-21 and Financial Year 2021-22).
  • List of immovable properties and investments owned by the family, along with the approximate market value as of March 31, 2022 (Format available in the scholarship form).
  • Copy of bank statements from January 2022 until the present.
  • Student undertaking stating that they are not recipients of any other government/private scholarships or grants or benefits (Format available in the scholarship form).
  • Income declaration by parents/guardians, stating the definite income as per the Income Tax Return for Financial Year 2022-23 from all sources, through an affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 50 (Format available in the scholarship form).
  • Copy of the bank passbook or a blank crossed cheque of the bank (Account must be in the name of the student applying for the scholarship).
  • Educational expenses of other siblings and any government/other help (Format available in the scholarship form).
  • Receipt of fee payment for the last attended semester at the previous school/college/university.
