BIT Lalpur BBA and BCA Admission 2025

Birla Institute of Technology, Lalpur offers BBA and BCA programs at the undergraduate level, with an intake capacity of 50 seats each.

• Eligibility (BBA): Candidates must have passed 10+2 in any stream with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and English as a compulsory subject.

• Eligibility (BCA): Candidates must have secured at least 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 with English, and any one of Mathematics, Computer Science, or Information Practices as a subject.

• Selection Process: Admission to both BBA and BCA is based on merit in the qualifying examination (10+2).

Key Points:

• For BCA, candidates must have 50% marks in either Mathematics, Computer Science, or Information Practices, along with English in Class 12.

• A relaxation of 5% in marks is given to candidates belonging to SC/ST categories.

• Eligibility (MBA): Bachelor’s degree in any stream with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized university.

• Eligibility (MCA): 10+2 qualification with 55% aggregate marks, including Mathematics/Computer Science/Information Practices as one of the subjects.

• Eligibility (M.Sc. IT): B.Sc. degree with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks from a UGC/AIU-recognized university.

Selection Process:

• MBA: Admission is based on valid scores in CAT/CMAT/XAT/MAT, followed by Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).

• MCA: Selection is through the BIT MCA Entrance Test and counseling conducted by the institute.

• M.Sc. (IT): Admission is merit-based, determined by marks secured in the qualifying examination.

Steps to Apply:

1. Visit the official website of Birla Institute of Technology.

3. Create a username and password, and select the desired program.

5. Fill out the online application form and submit it.

6. Pay the application fee:

   • INR 2500 for General/OBC candidates

   • INR 1500 for SC/ST candidates

7. Download and print the completed application form.
