Bannari Amman Institute of Technology Scholarships

Candidates willing to take admission in the Bannari Amman Institute of Technology must be aware of the opportunities, the institute offers during admission in the college. The courses offered by the Bannari Amman Institute of Technology are commonly affordable for all the applicants, but even then if any student is unable to choose their preferred course in the college due to financial constraints then the candidate can simply look for the scholarships the college offers to help the students to join the college.

The scholarships or fee waivers are only made available to those students who can not afford the course due to financial issues but has good scores to carry on with the chosen course. In that case, the course has separate fee concession for the women candidates and also reservation quota for the reserved categories. 

The three types of Scholarships provided are:

• Merit-Based Scholarship: 

All Applicants are offered the scholarships on the basis of merit. The motive behind providing the scholarship is to recognize the highly meritorious students and offer them admission in Bannari Amman Institute of Technology. This is also a great way of welcoming the best students in the college.

• Merit cum Mean Based Scholarship: 

For this scholarship, applicants are offered admission on the basis of merit and means. This is for the students who can’t afford higher education due to financial constraints but has enough merit. Hence those candidates are given merit cum means scholarship. These students must provide the parent’s income certificate as per the eligibility of the fee waiver.

• Mean Based Scholarship:

This scholarship scheme is for applicants who belong to the economically backward background. There are a large number of applicants who often step back from taking admission in the college due to lack of money so the institute gives them a chance to achieve higher education.

Besides all the scholarships, the reserved categories are given the concessions as per the Government of India. Additionally, the Government of India also offers scholarships, fee waivers and concessions to the women candidates.
