Bangalore University Results and Cutoffs are based on the merit criteria of a student along with some paradigms set by the university like Pre-University entrance exams and personal interview.

The students have to undergo through the above-mentioned processes in order to get appointed for the desired course or degree for which they have applied.

After the completion of the (10+2) examinations, students can apply for any of the bachelor degree courses according to their preferences.

The selection procedure is mainly done on the basis of merit scored in their HSC exams with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate, and they must have the respective subject, for which they have applied. It is further followed by an entrance test conducted at the university level along with a personal round of interview.

Admission to B.E, B.Tech and B.Arch courses are granted on the combined scores of HSC exams and valid scores of KCET.

In the case of Master Degree courses like M.A, M.Com, M.Sc, MSW, etc. the students are selected based on the marks scored in their graduation level. They must score a minimum of 40% in aggregate and 50% in the concerned subject for which they have applied.

PGCET, followed by counselling, is done in master degree specializations like M.Arch, MBA, M.E, MCA, etc. In PhD courses that candidates need to appear in the PhD entrance test, followed by a personal interview.

The aspirant must have a master degree in the relevant discipline along with a minimum of 55% of marks in aggregate. Bangalore University Cut-Offs are based on different aspects like no. of availability of seats, no. vacancy available for the exam, difficulty level of the question papers, sectional wise cut-off schemes, etc.
