Babu Banarasi Das University is offering scholarships for the academic year 2025–26 to support and reward meritorious and deserving students. The university provides merit-based tuition fee waivers to eligible undergraduate (excluding BDS) and postgraduate (excluding MDS, LLM, and B.Ed) students based on academic performance.

Types of Scholarships Offered:

• Merit Scholarships (Based on Class 12 Results):

  • 100% tuition fee waiver for students scoring 90% and above

  • 50% tuition fee waiver for scores between 85%–89%

  • 25% tuition fee waiver for scores between 80%–84%

• Performance-Based Scholarships:

  • Awarded annually to top performers in semester examinations across various programs.

• Government Scholarships (Uttar Pradesh):

  • Offered to students from economically weaker sections, with varying scholarship amounts:

    • ₹70,000 for SC/ST category

    • ₹40,000 for OBC category

    • ₹30,000 for General category students

• Financial Assistance:

  • Scholarships and aid are also extended to students based on socioeconomic background and academic merit.

Program-wise Fee Examples:

• B.Com (Hons): ₹80,000 per year

• B.Tech: ₹1,25,000 per year
