Anna University Scholarships

Anna University offers Merit-cum-Means Scholarship/Post-Matric Scholarships to its students, including those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Additionally, students have access to various scholarships provided by both state and central government bodies. The table below outlines the scholarships available and their respective eligibility criteria:

Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
Merit-cum-means Minority Scholarship – Meritorious students belonging to Muslim, Christian, Sikh, and Buddhist communities are eligible to apply.
  – Family annual income should not exceed INR 2.5 lakhs.
Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship – Students who have attained 80% or above in their 10+2 level and maintain a 75% attendance in the 1st year are eligible.
MBC/BC Scholarship – Students belonging to backward categories with a family annual income of less than INR 2 lakhs are eligible.
SC/ST Scholarship – Family annual income should not exceed INR 2.5 lakhs.
  – Essential proof from Tahsildar is required.
TN Educational Trust Scholarship – Students enrolled in UG and PG courses are eligible.
