AMSOM Ahmedabad Scholarships 2026 – Bachelors & Integrated Masters Programmes

Ahmedabad University offers an extensive range of scholarships, fellowships, and need-based financial aid to ensure that deserving and talented students can pursue their undergraduate education without financial barriers. 1. Need-Based Scholarships (2026)

These scholarships ensure that no capable student is denied education due to financial constraints. Approximately 80% of applicants who request financial aid receive support.

Eligibility & Benefits

• Family income up to ₹5 lakh:
  
  ✔ 90%–100% tuition fee waiver

• Family income ₹5–10 lakh:
  
  ✔ Partial tuition fee waiver

• Additional Support:
  
  ✔ Limited housing scholarships for outstation students
  
  ✔ Final decision based on family income, expenditure, assets, and an independent audit visit

Note: If a student qualifies for both an Academic Scholarship and a Need-Based Scholarship, the Academic Scholarship is applied first, and the remaining need may be covered by the Need-Based Scholarship.

2. Merit Fellowships (One-Time Awards)

These prestigious fellowships recognize outstanding academic achievement.

• Vice Chancellor’s Fellowship: ₹3,00,000 (one-time)

• Executive Provost’s Fellowship: ₹2,00,000 (one-time)

• Dean’s Fellowship: ₹1,00,000 (one-time)

3. Merit Scholarships (From Second Year Onwards)

These are awarded annually to the highest-performing students of each programme.

• Number of scholarships depends on the size of the programme

4. Mahatma Gandhi Scholars Programme (2026)

This is one of the most prestigious university-wide scholarships, offering full financial support to exceptional students across all undergraduate and Integrated Masters programmes.

• Full hostel fee waiver (for outstation students)

• Waiver for Independent Study Period courses

5. College Board India Scholars Programme (SAT-Based)

• 100% tuition fee scholarship for top SAT scorers in India

• Valid for the entire duration of the UG programme

Eligible students applying with SAT scores are connected with College Board to complete the scholarship application process.
