AMSOM Ahmedabad Courses, Fees & Eligibility Criteria
AMSOM offers a range of specialisations across undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs. The eligibility criteria for each course are as follows:
Undergraduate Programs

Students enrolled in the Integrated Master of Science in Life Sciences are required to pay an additional thesis fee of around ₹50,000 in their fifth year, if they opt for a Master’s Thesis at Ahmedabad University.

For dual-degree programs like BxMx or Integrated BTech-MBA, fees for the first four years follow the chosen undergraduate programme’s structure. In the fifth year, the applicable master’s programme fee will be charged (e.g., for BA-MBA, pay BA fees for four years, MBA fee for the fifth).
Payment and Other Guidelines:

Fees are to be paid in two equal instalments each academic year—at the start of the Monsoon and Winter semesters.

The university covers the cost of books and materials for most courses.

Additional charges apply for activities such as Independent Study Period, Summer Semester, career development services, immersions, and other optional programs. These charges are non-refundable.

Tuition fees are subject to annual revision and may increase by 6% to 9%. For instance, the increase for continuing students in AY 2023–2024 was 7.5%.

Admission cancellation and refund policies follow UGC Guidelines.

The tuition fee does not include the cost of books and course materials. Students should budget approximately ₹20,000 per year for this expense.

Fees must be paid in two equal instalments each academic year—at the beginning of the Monsoon and Winter semesters.

An additional ₹10,000 may be spent on books and course materials during the program.

Charges for Independent Study Periods, Summer Semesters, Immersions, Career Development Services, and other optional offerings will be collected separately and are non-refundable.

- 100 per cent Tuition Fee waiver for all full-time PhD students. (Tuition Fee waiver will be limited to five years from the date of admission to the PhD Programme).
