Admission

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Admission 2019:

  • For Undergraduate courses such as B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, BCA, B.Tech and BAMS, the primary criterion is a 12th pass in the relevant subject with minimum 60% marks.
  • Selection for these courses is based on the entrance exam conducted by the respective departments of Amrita group of Institution.
  • For admission to Integrated courses (B.Sc. + M.Sc.), the candidates must have scored 50% marks in 12th with PCM.
    In the case of B.A. + M.A. course admission, the candidates are required to pass 12th with minimum 60% marks with English as a compulsory subject.
  • Selection of the candidates in all these integrated courses are made by entrance exam conducted by the respective departments
  • For admission to Postgraduate courses viz. MD, MS, MA, and M.Sc, the candidates must have obtained a graduate degree in the relevant subjects with a minimum of 60% marks.
  • Selection of the candidates in these courses is based on the entrance test conducted by University.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 60% marks is required for MBA course while admission is granted by GMAT/CAT or CMAT scores.
  • For the M.Tech courses, the candidates must have obtained 60% marks in B.E or B.Tech, and final selection is made by GATE score.
  • For M.Phil and PhD, courses the candidates must have a Master’s degree in the relevant subjects.
  • Selection of the candidates for M. Phil course is based on the entrance exam conducted by the university while PhD admission is based on GATE/ UGC NET or CSIR-NET scores.
