In its very first year of shifting to online from the pen-paper mode, Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2018 aspirants have allegedly faced technical glitches across the country. XAT 2018, conducted by Xavier Association of Management Institutes (XAMI), took place today on January 7, 2018, at 314 test centres across 49 cities. As soon as the exam ended, quite a few management aspirants took to social media and complained about the technical difficulty management issues faced during the examination.

Complaining about the mismanagement, one Twitter user Gairik Chatterjee wrote, “Such disgusting behaviour with candidates and such irresponsible management is a punishable offence I reckon.”  Similar concerns were shared by another aspirant Lipsa Jena on Twitter, who wrote, “

#XAT2018 was a complete disaster. Totally messy online exam arrangement. Links went down a dozen of times,” on her profile.

Along with Twitter a lot of aspirants raised concern on PaGaLGuY as well, demanding a re-exam.
