The Railway Recruitment Board holds an examination every year for the Senior Section Engineer. The examination is very competitive, and the application process is all online. To score good marks and clear the cut off for this examination the candidates need to be sure about the syllabus. The syllabus for the RRB SSE examination is easy and if worked hard enough the candidates can easily clear the test. After clearing the test, the candidates need to go through a personal interview that will test their communication skills. The detailed description of the RRB SSE Syllabus is mentioned below. The question paper is divided into five sections as.

The total number of questions in the examination is 150 and the total marks are 150. The exam does have negative marking. One-third of the total marks of the question are deducted by the examiner if the answer to the attempted question is wrong. The first four sections included ask 60 questions and the technical ability questions are 90 in total. This makes a total of 150 questions.
