The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has invited applications for WBJEE 2016, for admissions to undergraduate courses in medical and engineering streams for the academic session 2016-2017.
The online form fill-up and registration will end on 29.02.2016. Engineering aspirants need to fill up their personal details, upload the required documents and pay the application fee. The payment of application fee can be done through Allahabad Bank e-Challan or EPG. Post the payment of fee, the candidate can take the printout of the confirmation page generated. Candidates are not required to send the documents by post.
The exam will assess students’ knowledge in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The exam will have 40 questions each on Physics and Chemistry while the section on Mathematics will have 75 questions. Each questions will be of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type, with four options against each of the questions and the answer(s) to each of the questions has to be marked on the OMR sheet.
The exam will be conducted on 17th May, 2016 and the tentative date of declaration of results is June 5, 2016.
