The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission, commonly known as the UPPSC, is the State public service commission of Uttar Pradesh, carrying out various government recruitments and examinations.
While it’s main function is to carry out the recruitment of candidates into the civil service posts in the state of Uttar Pradesh, it also looks into some other recruitment opportunities in the state government.
The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission had released the notification for the post of LT Grade Assistant Professors on its official website last year. The recruitment for these posts will be conducted according to the subjects for which the vacancies were announced.
Interested and eligible candidates applied for the given posts between 15th March 2018 to 12th April 2018. After reopening of the application, the final application process was closed in the month of June 2018.
The exam for these posts was held on 29th July 2019. There were a total of 10,768 vacancies for the post with 5,404 vacancies for females and 5,364 vacancies for males. Recently, UPPSC has uploaded the schedule for Document Verification (DV). The results for all the subjects were released between April to November 2019.
Candidates who have qualified in the written examination will now be eligible to appear for the Document Verification.
In order to access the schedule, candidates can follow the steps as given below –
- Step-1 : Visit the official website of UPPSC, which is http://uppsc.up.nic.in/
- Step-2 : Look for the link for the LT Grade Assistant Professors Document Verification Schedule
- Step-3 : Click on the link.
- Step-4 : The schedule will be downloaded automatically in the PDF format.
- Step-5 : Candidates must carefully go through the schedule and save the Document on their computer.
The document verification schedule states the name of the subject and post along with the time at which roll numbers have to appear for the verification process. It also states the dates on which the document verification will be conducted.
From the notification, it is clear that the verification process will be conducted in two shifts –10:00 am to 1:00 pm and from 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm. The document verification for all the posts will be conducted between 22nd December 2019 to 24th December 2019.
It is mandatory that all the candidates carry every necessary document carefully. The failure to present the required documents can lead to the cancellation of the candidate’s recruitment. The documents should include educational certificates, identity proof, address proof, etc.
