These talented new faculty members look forward to building their academic careers teaching, researching and consulting in their respective chosen area of specializations and are pleased to work with faculty colleagues and students at MYRA. MYRA School of Business is delighted to welcome them to The MYRA family.

Voices of the new faculty:

"I was looking for a serene atmosphere where teaching took precedence and the students took learning seriously. MYRA with its well-laid out campus; faculty from all over the world and students chosen carefully from across the length and breadth of India was the right fit. MYRA has to be seen to be believed. It has surpassed all my expectations in terms of the quality of students, their innate smartness, and eagerness to assimilate concepts and the camaraderie amongst the faculty is something that I have come to value," said Dr. Sudhir Kamath, Associate Professor of Finance.

"MYRA business school is an attractive career option for mid-career professionals like me, because of the value they accord to both academic excellence and practitioner experience. The grand vision of MYRA as communicated by the founder was an important factor for me to choose this school. MYRA has an unflinching commitment to quality in teaching, research and student intake. Furthermore, MYRA business school has a highly supportive ecosystem for conducting world-class research including opportunities for global research collaboration and research support/incentives. The work culture in MYRA is highly open and empowers faculty to innovate on both content and delivery. These factors played a significant role in my decision to join MYRA," said Prof Sivakumar S, Assistant Professor of Operations Management.

"Having defended my doctoral thesis successfully from the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode, I was sure that I wanted to join the noble profession of teaching. However, I was not sure of where to join. I knew that I wanted to join a business school that did not focus on imparting management education alone. I wanted to be a part of an institute that, along with management education, emphasized a strong ethical and social value system in the students, and adopted a global perspective in its pedagogical approach. MYRA fit this bill completely. Furthermore, on observing, MYRA's stringent student admission criteria and eminent global faculty, I was assured that I would be joining a management institute at par if not better than the premier management institutes of the country. MYRA has an extremely collegial community and provides ample support for any young management scholar to grow as a teacher as well as a researcher. After having joined MYRA, I am happy that I decided to join the MYRA family, whereby now I have the opportunity to interact and learn from the global faculty and the inspiring students here," said Dr. Aparna Venugopal, Assistant Professor OB & HRM Area.
