The year of 2013 was indeed a wonderful year for me as I witnessed a travel bug in me like never before who was eager and excited to visit new places and click pictures, explore cultures, interact with locals, observe the history and enjoy the experience.

This year I traveled to more than 7 cities with different companies and with different motivations. Here is a recap!

1) January- Lucknow-Unnav

I visited the cities of Lucknow and Unnav and traveled in the lanes of the villages of the otherwise backwards villages and marvelled at how the villagers indulged in beauty and hygiene with P&G;, GSK and HUL products flooding the kinaara shops. It was a delight to the street photographer in me.

2) February- Bengaluru

I spent a luxurious and lazy weekend in Bengaluru meeting friends and shoppping at MG Road while spending the evenings ravishing the delicacies! One trip I dint do much photography!

3) May- Alwar

Come May, and I packed my bags to visit Alwar for a friend’s wedding. I indulged in wedding photography while I saw a Rajasthani wedding for the first time. I spent time visiting the local forts and enjoyed a lazy weekend in Alwar

4) May- Mussoorie-Landour

I decided to treat a friend of mine to a little holiday and we packed our bags to trek in Mussoorie-Landour. We spent our time eating, trekking and photographing the nature in its purest form over this weekend.

5) September- Gandhinagar-Ahmedabad

My first visit to Gujarat was marked with Architectural photography as I visited temples of all architectures and designs. I was captivated by the beauty of the interiors and couldnt keep the camera down for a moment

6) December- Diu

I ended the year clicking portraits in Diu as I spent a weekend on the beach and visiting local fishing villages

Couldnt have asked for a more awesome year when I got to click a myriad of subjects and now I look forward to an exciting 2014!
