SSC CHSL 2019

The Staff Selection Commission has released the admit cards for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) 2019 Tier 2 examination. The tier 2 examination is scheduled to be conducted by the Staff Selection Commission on September 29, 2019.

The candidates that have qualified in the SSC CHSL Tier 1 examination are eligible to appear for the Tier 2 examination and can download the admit card through the official website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). The CHSL Tier 1 examination was conducted from July 1 to July 11, 2019. The results and the sectional cut-off marks for the same has been released by the Staff Selection Commission.

The CHSL Tier 2 examination will be a descriptive written test for a total of 100 marks where the candidates are asked to write an essay of 200-250 words and a letter/ application of – words. The total duration for the CHSL Tier 2 examination will be 60 minutes. The candidates qualifying the CHSL Tier 2 examination will be eligible for the Tier 3 examination, which is a typing test followed by the Document Verification (DV). The qualifying marks for the CHSL Tier 2 examination is 33% marks.

The Staff Selection Commission has released a notification through the official website advising the candidates not to download the admit card more than once as any multiple downloads of the duplicate admit card may get the candidates blocked from downloading any admit cards further from the official website by the Staff Selection Commission.

SSC CHSL Tier 2 examination: How to download admit card

Candidates qualified the CHSL Tier 1 examination are eligible for the Tier 2 examination and can download the admit cards for the examination that is scheduled to be conducted on September 29, 2019. Candidates are advised to visit the official regional websites of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) to download the admit cards for CHSL Tier 2 examination. Candidates can follow the step-wise instructions mentioned below to download the admit cards.

Step 1: Visit the concerned official regional website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC): ssc.nic.in

Step 2: On the homepage, find and click on the link ‘Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Tier 2 Admit Card.’

Step 3: The link will be redirected to a new webpage, where candidates need to log in

Step 4: Once logged in, three options will be provided to download the admit card,

  • Enter the registration ID, date of birth, enter the captcha and click on search to view the admit card or
  • Enter the roll number, date of birth, enter the captcha and click on search to view the admit card or
  • If you do not know the roll number, then you can find the admit card by entering the full name, father’s name and date of birth as well

Step 5: The admit card will be displayed on the screen, download and take a printout for future use.
