Exam results for the recruitment of candidates for the position of Probationary Officers by State Bank of India will be declared today at 5 pm

According to officials at the Central Recruitment and Promotion Department, SBI, Mumbai, the final result of State Bank of India (SBI) Probationary Officer (PO) exam 2016, is expected at 5 pm today, September 30. 

SBI conducts a three-phase test to select candidates for its officer cadre- Prelims, Mains and Interview. The Prelims were conducted in July, 2016. It is an online objective test which has a total of 100 marks.  Subsequently, the Mains phase was conducted on July 31, 2016. The Mains has an objective test of 200 mark and a descriptive test for 50 marks. The final phase of the exam consists of group discussion and personal interview for 20 and 30 marks respectively.

A merit list of candidates is declared in the basis of marks secured in Phase II (Mains) and Phase (III), out of a total of 300 marks.

In 2016, the Phase (III) started since September 1.
