Consulting firm Ernst & Young made 13 offers, FMCG sector was dominated by Procter and Gamble who made 21 offers, Cognizant Technologies led IT with 21 offers and banking and financial advisory saw ICICI Group make 30 offers this year.

Companies that participated in the process include JP Morgan Chase, HSBC, Barclays, Citi Group, Asian Paints and GE (IMLP, Commercial Finance) among others. The students with Industry specific work experience were placed in MNCs such as IBM, Accenture Business Consulting, Manhattan Consulting, SAP, Global e-Procure and Bristlecone. The job profiles ranged from Strategic Management to Consulting.

23 pc opted for FMCG & Pharma sector, which was represented by firms like HUL, GSK, Procter and Gamble, Colgate Palmolive, Cadburys, Britannia, Johnson & Johnson, ITC, Glenmark and Reckitt Benckiser. The profiles offered in the FMCG sector include Sales, Marketing, IT and Supply Chain.

30 pc of students embraced jobs in the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance Sector. Banks like American Express, Citi Bank, ICICI Bank, Standard Chartered, Kotak Mahindra and Yes Bank roped in the students. Profiles on offer include Investment Banking, Project Finance, Consumer and Wholesale Banking, Credit Risk and Treasury Operations.

IT firms that recruited 26 pc of the students. Companies recruiting from campus include Oracle, Cypress, Sun Microsystems, Cognizant, TCS and Infosys. Manufacturing attracted 6 pc of students.
