My first read about NIBM was in the book titled “I do what i do” written by former RBI Governor Dr. Raghuram Rajan. It raised curiosity in me. I went on to explore more about NIBM and it turned out to be an esteemed institution producing talented post-graduates with a unique skill-set that is strong on Banking and Financial Services with a 100% placement record.
I am a graduate in Production Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Calicut. Later I went on to work for a little over a year, in a startup (ientra Business Solutions) which is in the investment banking domain. The transition from academic background in Engineering to Finance was made easy by the course structure, attention to detail and efficient and helpful faculties at NIBM.
What makes the course at NIBM different from other MBA courses according to my opinion, would be the course structure, syllabus and expertise of faculties on those domains. The student community at NIBM is quite vibrant and the relatively small batch size helps in bonding well with everyone easily.
Future prospects at NIBM looks bright as I look forward to kick-starting a career at a respected position in a reputed company, on a specialization of my choice.
