Good news for candidates that have qualified the ITI examination and are looking for jobs in the Naval Dockyard. The Naval Dockyard has announced 17 vacancies for various apprentice posts on Monday.
Earlier the Naval Dockyard has announced the Apprentice recruitment for Naval Dockyard, Mumbai for 1233 various designated and non-designated apprentice posts.
The application process for ongoing recruitment is made accessible to aspirants through both online and offline modes.
The candidates with ITI qualified certificate in the relevant trade can apply for the apprentice training. The selection of the candidates will be made based on the written test/interview.
The duration of the apprentice training program is one year. Vacancies are available across various trades. The apprenticeship training program will be held for one year at the Naval Dockyard, Visakhapatnam.
Interested candidates should note that the apprenticeship training program is only for candidates that have qualified the ITI trade certificate. Candidates without ITI are not eligible for recruitment.
To make it accessible to the masses and reach all aspirants, Naval Dockyard has made the application process accessible in both online and offline modes. However, the deadlines to submit the application forms through both modes are different.
The last date for submission of application form through offline mode is December 5, 2019, whereas the candidates applying for the apprenticeship training program through the offline mode have time until December 12, 2019, to submit the application form in the prescribed format via post.
Naval Dockyard Recruitment 2019: Eligibility Criteria
The candidates should note that they have to meet certain eligibility requirements of the recruiting authorities to be eligible for the apprenticeship training program.
The eligibility criteria for the Naval Dockyard apprenticeship training program is mentioned below.
- The candidate should have completed class 10 from a recognized Board with an aggregate of at least 50%.
- The candidate should have qualified the ITI examination in the relevant trade with at least 65% marks.
Naval Dockyard Recruitment 2019: How to Apply
The candidates can either prefer the online or offline mode for the application process. It is recommended to refer to the official notification to know detailed information about both the application processes.

Step 1: Visit the official website: bhartiseva.com.
Step 2: Register on the website by clicking on ’Candidate Registration’ for apprenticeship by filling the registration form accurately.
Step 3: Once registered, go back to the homepage of the website and click on ‘Apprentice Activation’ from the drop down list of the ’Apprentice’ tab.
Step 4: Fill the form and select ‘Activate’.
Step 5: A registration number would be sent to the registered email address, click on the link mentioned in the email.
Step 6: You will be redirected to the apprenticeship webpage, enter Naval Dockyard in the Establishment name and select ‘Andhra Pradesh’ from the drop down list.
Step 7: Once done, click on the ‘Establishment Trade Details’ and select the relevant trade you are applying for.
