National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli – Cutoffs for 2015

The JEE 2015 Seat Allocation process for the NITs (National Institute of Technology) is finally over and the NITs are scheduled to begin their academic year in the month of August. The National Institute of Technology (formerly known as Regional Engineering College) Tiruchirappalli, situated in the heart of Tamil Nadu on the banks of river Cauvery, was started in 1964. RECT became NITT in 2003.

The College has a total campus area of 800 acres. The campus promotes the academic and extra-curricular interests of the students. The Octagon is the pride of the campus equipped with modern facilities like a CAD/CAM Lab, Local Area Network, High Speed Internet connection and other seminar and conference facilities.

At the undergraduate level (B. E. / B. Tech.), this college offers 814 seats in 10 different branches. Selections to these seats is done on the basis of a student’s All India Rank in the JEE Main 2015.
