National Institute of Technology, Delhi Cutoffs 2015

The
JEE 2015 Seat Allocation process for the NITs (National Institute of
Technology) is finally over and
the NITs are scheduled to begin their academic year in the month of August. So,
let us now take
a look at the cutoffs/closing ranks in 2015 for the different NITs. This series
of articles will help you
understand the cutoffs/closing ranks for selection to each of the various
branches in the different NITs in 2015. This will also give you some idea about
the expected cutoffs/closing ranks for admission to the different IITs in 2016.

Candidates
were finally selected to the NITs on the basis of their performance in the JEE
Main 2015 and their performance in the Class XII exam. This was also the first
time that the NITs were a part of the Joint Seat Allocation Process that
involved other reputed institutions like the IITs, ISM Dhanbad, IIITs and other
GFTIs (Government Funded Technical Institutes).

NIT
Delhi started its academic session in 2010 with three undergraduate B.Tech
degree programmes in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and
Communication Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The
academic activities of NIT Delhi were initiated at NIT Warangal in year 2010
which later moved to a temporary campus at IIT Dwarka, New Delhi in June 2012
and now currently running at IAMR Campus, Narela. This college offers 90 seats in 3
different branches. Selections to these seats are done on the basis of a
student’s All India Rank in the JEE Main 2015.
