The
JEE 2015 Seat Allocation process for the IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology)
is finally over and the academic year most of the IITs has commenced. Admissions
to the coveted NITs is also done for the year 2105. So, let us now take a look
at the cutoffs/closing ranks in 2015 for the different NITs. This series of

Candidates
were finally selected to the NITs on the basis of their performance in the JEE
Main 2015 and their performance in the Class XII exam. This was also the first
time that the NITs were a part of the Joint Seat Allocation Process that
involved other reputed institutions like the IITs, ISM Dhanbad, IIITs and Other
GFTIs (Government Funded Technical Institutes).

In
this article, let us take a look at the cutoffs/closing ranks for the National
Institute of Technology, Agartala.

Founded
as the Tripura Engineering College in 1965 this college was declared a National
Institute of Technology (NIT) in 2006. The institute was made
residential from the 2007 – 2008 session with the opening of two boys hostels
and one girls hostel. At the
undergraduate level (B. E. / B. Tech.), this institute offers 757 seats in 13
different branches.

Selections
to these seats was done on the basis of a student’s All India Rank in the JEE Main
