    The notification for NABARD National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development) Development Assistant exam notification was released on August 27, 2018. It has its headquarters in Mumbai with various branches all over the country. Many candidates will apply for the jobs in NABARD each year. The interested candidates have applied for the Assistants exam and the prelims exam was conducted on September 29, 2018. There is a total of 70 vacancies for the year. The selection process for this post will be of 2 stages. They are Preliminary exam and Mains exam. The candidates willing to write the NABARD Assistant exam must clear both the stages of the exam in order to get recruited for the job.

    The preliminary examination for NABARD Assistant examination was conducted on September 29, 2018. It was conducted in online mode for a period of 1 hour. It had 3 sections namely English Language (40 marks), Reasoning Ability (30 marks) and Numerical Ability (30 marks) and for a total of 100 marks. The candidates who were able to clear the cutoff in this exam were allowed to appear for the Mains examination.

    In the NABARD Assistants main exam, there were 5 sections in it. It had both objective and descriptive type questions. They are Test of Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, Computer Knowledge and English Language. The English section alone was a descriptive test with 50 marks and the time duration of 30 minutes. The objective type sections were given time duration of 90 minutes. The total marks for the mains exam were 200.

    The result for NABARD Assistant mains exam was released on the official website. The candidates can visit the official website and view the result. Following are the steps to view the result:

    • Visit the official NABARD website
    • Click the NABARD development assistant result 2018
    • Provide the necessary details like your registration number and password
    • Finally, click the submit button
    • The results for the main exam will be displayed

    After viewing the results, the candidates can download it and take a print copy of the results and save it for further reference.

    The candidates who are able to meet the cutoff fixed by the exam board will be recruited for the job. There will be no interview process for the NABARD Assistant 2018 exam. The cutoff marks for the exam will be fixed by the NABARD. The cutoff will depend on certain factors like

    • The difficulty level of the question paper
    • Availability of vacancies for the respective year
    • Previous year trends of cutoff
