The deadline for filling fresh option forms for CAP (Centralised Admission Process) Round 4 was today, July 28, 5pm. Students were given 3 days since July 26 to submit fresh forms. However, it seems that the deadline has been extended without intimation. The official DTE (Directorate of Technical Education) website has still kept the form filling link live and students are able to login and continue filling their forms. (See image below)
When contacted, DTE officials said that they were unaware that the form filling link was available to students past the deadline. They said that if this were a deliberate extension of the deadline, there would be a notification put up on the website. However, in the absence of any formal notification, it is still unclear if students should continue filling their choices or submit the form.
