The JoSAA 2016 committee has extended the deadline for online registration and choice filling from Tuesday, June 28 to Wednesday, June 29. Aspirants will now have more time to fill in and recheck their choices. The deadline extension by JEE authorities has come as a welcome change for the students.

Prof K.V. Krishna, Chairman, JEE Advanced 2016 unit, said, “Earlier we had allotted one full day for the reconciliation of applications so that the first round of seat allocation announcement could be made on June 30. But now, we are doing the reconciliation of applications from day one of registration, as and when we receive applications. Hence, we do not need a full day for calculation after registrations close.” This extra time has been given to students so that they do not make any minute errors in their forms. Once the registration form is submitted, aspirants will not be allowed to alter their choices or any other details in the form.

Aspirants have two more days until 12 noon on July 29, to submit their registration forms.

Results for the first round of allocation will be announced by JoSAA on Thursday, June 30, 2016. For any more queries or help, aspirants can leave their questions in the comments section below, and we will get back with an answer as soon as possible.
