Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puduchery has announced dates for the entrance examination for Doctorate of Medicine and Master of Surgery (DM/MCh) July 2017 academic session. The online registration for the entrance examination will be open from March 13 and will close on April 19.
The entrance test will be held on May 21, 2017. The academic session for DM/MCh will commence on July 1, 2017. The authorities at JIPMER hold the right to modify the schedule if deemed necessary. JIPMER has also released the dates for the first, second and third counselling sessions.
June 29, 2017: First Counselling Session
July 18, 2017: Second Counselling Session
July 28, 2017: Third Counselling Session
July 31, 2017: Closing of the Admission Process
JIPMER has a total of 20 seats for DM and 16 in MCh. While 10 seats in DM and 8 in MCh are occupied in the January academic session, the remaining are kept for July. Both courses take three years for completion.
