The Ministry of Human Resource Development approved the reconstitution of Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) for the academic year 2017-18. Dr Udaykumar R Y, Director of Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur has been appointed as the Chairman of CSAB-2017 in order to facilitate admission to IITs, NITs, IIITs and such Centrally Funded Technical Institutions.
This year, there shall be no weightage given to the marks secured in the standard 12 examination, while calculating the ranks for JEE (mains).
