JEE Main & Advanced 2015 seat allocation process – selection of choices delayed

Dear Readers,

The official website for JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) has been launched. This

development was announced on the JEE Advanced website on 23.06.2015. The website is meant

for admissions into various IITs and ISM through JEE (Advanced) 2015 and into NITs, IIITs, other-

GFTIs through JEE (Main) 2015.

However, the filling in of choices for JoSAA for this year will not start from 25.06.2015 because of

non-declaration of JEE (Main) 2015 Paper-1 and JEE (Main) 2015 Paper-2 ranks. According to a

public notice by CBSE, this is due to non-availability of class 12th results in some cases. The

CBSE has notified 25.06.2015 as the last day for submission of class 12th results by the

candidates.
