The placement season continues in full swing at K J Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research. A total of 300 plus companies have registered at the campus this year and another 75 would follow in quick succession. Industry leaders and top notch brands of every industry and sector have visited SIMSR and the response is a remarkable improvement over last year.
The companies visiting our campus for the 2015-2016 Placements are primarily from the following sectors and provide diverse opportunities and profiles to meet the varied expectations and aspirations of the students.
Among the principal offers made, the Students have received 120 offers from the IT majors, 88 from Banking and Insurance Sector, 45 offers from Financial Services and so on so forth.
The average salary has increased by 14 % over last year.
We expect the Placements to close in a month and half before that of last year.
