The
JEE 2015 Seat Allocation process for the IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology)
is finally over and the academic year most of the IITs has commenced. So, let
us now take a look at the cutoffs/closing ranks in 2015 for the different IITs.

note that only candidates who secured a rank among the top one and a half lakh

JEE Advanced examination 2015. Candidates were finally selected to the IITs/ISM
Dhanbad purely on the basis of their performance in the JEE Advanced 2015. This
was also the first time that the IITs and ISM Dhanbad were a part of the Joint
Seat Allocation Process that involved other reputed institutions like the NITs,
IIITs, Other GFTIs (Government Funded Technical Institutes).

In
this article, let us take a look at the cutoffs/closing ranks for the IIT
Varanasi.

The
Banaras Hindu University (BHU) was founded in 1919 and in 2012, the Institute
of Technology at BHU was designated an Indian Institute of Technology. Indian
Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi (commonly known as IIT (BHU) Varanasi)
is a public engineering institution located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh,
India.  IIT(BHU) Varanasi has 17 academic
units including 10 Engineering Departments, 3 Science Departments, 3
Interdisciplinary Schools and 1 Humanities & Social Sciences Section.

Selections
to these seats was done on the basis of a student’s All India Rank in the JEE
Advanced 2015. The list given below mentions the opening and closing ranks of

at this IIT in 2015.
