IISER Admission 2020

The admissions date for the IISER aptitude test 2020 has been declared by

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Thiruvananthapuram. The candidates willing to appear for the same needs to visit the official website to keep themselves updated about the recent news and notifications.

There are a couple of other modes of application as well. These modes include the Joint Entrance Examination of Indian Institutes of Technology (JEE) and Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY).

The application for the KVPY will commence from April 24, 2020 onwards. The procedure will open at 11am. The application for JEE will start from June 1 onwards. Regarding any updates regarding detailed schedules and pattern of exam, the candidate may check on the official website  iiseradmission.in.

Benefits of qualifying the IISER exam

The candidates who will crack the IISER 2020 Aptitude test will be able to secure a seat for the four year BS programme in Engineering Sciences and Economics. The course is offered at IISER, Bhopal. But various other campuses of IISER across the country offer a five year dual degree programme in various science streams ranging from Data Science to Geological Sciences.

Other fields include Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Data Science, Earth & Climate Sciences/Earth & Environmental Sciences, Economic Sciences, Engineering Sciences (Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering & Computer Science Engineering), Physical Sciences.

The exam will be conducted at various campuses in Berhampur, Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram, and Tirupati. The exam will be a three hour long exam that will start from 9 am and continue till 12 pm.
