Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kota
Indian Institute of Information Technology Kota (IIIT, Kota) is located
at Ranpur near Kota, Rajasthan. The academic session of IIIT Kota started form
its temporary campus at Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur from
year 2013. Students of IIIT-K are currently studying in MNIT, Jaipur while the
campus is under construction at Ranpur, Kota. IIIT-Kota is a central government
institute based on the PPP (Public Private Partnership) model as it partners
with companies like Cairn India Limited, Hindustan Motors, Genpact India and
Vakrangee Software Limited.
The MNIT campus is
spread over an area of
317 acres of lush greenery and is imaginatively laid-out with a picturesque
landscape. The instructional buildings and library have been located at walking
distance to both the hostels and the staff quarters. There is a branch of ICICI
Bank Ltd and a Post-office in the campus. A full-fledged dispensary is
available on campus with Homeopathic and Ayurvedic doctors too.
The college has two
international size basketball courts, a football ground, two tennis courts,
badminton and table tennis courts (separate in every hostel, open 24 hours).
There is an indoor badminton court in the sports department and a gymnasium.
There are three standard volleyball courts.
Admission procedure is through the JEE-Mains examination. MNIT is
currently home to two batches of IIITK who participate in the college academic
and co-curricular activities like any other student from the NIT

Currently the
institute offers is BTechP in Computer Engineering with an intake of 30 students
per year.
More than just studies
Till the
institute shifts to its permanent campus, the activities are the same as those
enjoyed by the MNIT students.
