Central Airmen Selection Board Airmen Admit Card 2019

Indian Air Force (IAF) – Central Airmen Selection Board has issued Airmen Admit Card at airmenselection.cdac.in. It has been released on August 31, 2018.

Candidates can download it from the link below. IAF will also send admit card to the registered e-mail id of the candidates. The IAF Airmen exam will be held from September 13 to 16, 2018.

IAF Airmen Group X and Group Y Important Dates

Indian Air Force will conduct selection test for the recruitment of unmarried male (Indian/Nepalese) in group X trades (except education instructor trade) and group Y trades (except automobile technician, ground training instructor, IAF (Police),  IAF(security) and musician trades).

IAF Airman Examination Pattern

There are three stages in the selection process of Airmen – Phase I, Phase II (Verification of Eligibility, Physical Fitness Test, and Adaptability Test) and Phase III – Medical Examination.

Phase – I

Mode of Exam: Online
Nature of Exam: Objective
The language of Exam: Bilingual (Hindi and English except for English paper)

For Group ‘X’ Trades.

For Group ‘Y’ {Except Automobile Technician, GTI, IAF (P), IAF(S) and Musician} Trades.

Phase – II

Once candidate clears Phase-I, IAF will send the admit card for the phase II, on the candidate’s registered email id. Phase II includes Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Adaptability Test.

Note: Candidates should be in possession of the documents mentioned below when appearing for the Selection Test which would be scrutinised/verified prior to commencement of Phase – II.

A] Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

The candidates have to present on the said center for the PFT. In PFT the candidates have to perform the following tasks

  •  1.6 Km run to be completed within 06 minutes and 30 seconds.
  • 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups, and 20 squats within the stipulated time

Note: Candidates are advised to bring their sports shoes and shorts/Track pants.

B] Adaptability Test

The candidates who will qualify the PFT they have to appear for the Adaptability test. This test has further categorization as Test I and II for both Group ‘ X’ & Group ‘Y’ Trades.

 Adaptability Test-1 is an objective written exam. In this test, the candidates will be tested as per suitability for the post and varied geographic terrain, weather, and operational conditions.

Adaptability Test-2 is to select candidates who can adapt to the environment of Indian Air Force and are able to adjust to the military way of life.

Documents Need To Produce at Phase II by Candidates

The candidates have to report to the exam center mentioned on the admit card. While appearing for the exam they have to produce some documents. The list of documents is

  • Colour Print out of Admit Card for phase – II.
  • Colour Print out of duly filled application form.
  • HB Pencil, Eraser, Sharpener, Glue stick, Stapler and Black/Blue Ball Point Pen for writing.
  • Ten copies of unattested recent passport size color photograph (same as used in the application form).
  • 10th pass certificate (Original and four self-attested copies)
  • 12th pass certificate (Original and four self-attested copies)

Note: If a candidate fails to provide the above documents while appearing for the phase II of the selection process. These documents will be verified before the commencement of phase II exam.

Phase III – Medical Examination

Those who will clear the phase I and II, IAF will call them for the Phase III which is a medical examination round. IAf will issue them the admit card for medical examination. At the time of the medical exam, the candidate must carry the admit card of it. The candidates will be tested for their medical condition by taking the following test

  • Blood Haemogram – Hb, TLC, DLC
  • Urine RE/ME
  • Biochemistry
  • Blood Sugar Fasting & PP
  • Serum Cholesterol
  • Urea, Uric acid, Creatinine
  • LFT – Serum Bilirubin, SGOT, SGPT
  • X-Ray chest (PA view)
  • ECG
