FLAME University, Pune organized its first HR Conclave (Nurturing Human capital in 21st
century Organizations – Prospects and Challenges)
on 28th
November, 2015
in its campus. This event was a platform for some of the leading
Human Resource professionals from different cities of India to share their
valuable knowledge and experience with the institution’s students, members of
faculty, and guests from corporate world. 
The conclave was a rare opportunity to learn from senior corporate
executives and consultants, exchange ideas and to gain new insights.

The Vice Chancellor of FLAME University opened the conclave
and welcomed the experts and guests from industry. The keynote address on the
theme of the conclave was delivered by Dr
G.P. Rao (Founder and Managing Partner, Good People Relations Consulting)
in
which he illustrated on the theme of the conclave. Using his long and diverse
experience in managing human resource in different industries and geographies,
Dr Rao explained why ‘Human Capital’ was so crucial for 21st century
organizations and identified the prospects and challenges for us.  

The other speakers on the event included senior Human
Resource professionals from Banking, Manufacturing, Automobile, Shipping and
IT/ITES. They addressed the audience on varied subjects in the domain
connecting them to the theme of the conclave. During the last one hour, there
was a panel discussion with six members moderated by Mr. Sachidanand Kulkarni (VP-HR and Culture, Webonise Lab) where
crucial career issues relating to management students were discussed. In an
engrossing question-answer sessions, the panel members answered the queries of
students who will be managers and leaders of tomorrow. The event received
highly positive feedback from all participants.
