“Taking part on the exchange programme is an invaluable experience that extended my knowledge of international business, enhanced my CV, and enriched my life on a personal and professional level” says PGP student Vishal Chandrabhan Singh. Goa Institute of Management offers several scholarships for participating in the exchange programme. Vishal went to Catolica Lisbon School of Business & Economics, Portugal. “My experience in Germany has invigorated me to change the way management world works” says another PGP student Siya V. Gaonkar who went to Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt, Germany on Sir Ratan Tata Exchange Scholarship.

Kansas University, USA.

In the current year GIM has active students
exchange program with three institutions:

1. Antwerp University, Faculty of Applied
Economic Sciences, Belgium.

2. Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt,
Germany

3. Catolica Lisbon School of Business
& Economics, Portugal

“International learning and knowledge
propels students towards acceptance and understanding of an array of different
cultural and community perspectives” says Prof. Kaushik Desarkar who looks
after the program. Prof. Desarkar is positive on adding one more institution
from Fujen Catholic University, Taiwan 
next academic year. GIM’s student exchange programs enable GIM students
to study abroad for one term at its partner universities as well as enables
students from its partner universities to study here in Goa. This opportunity
exposes students to a new cultural and learning environment and is a unique
opportunity for students to broaden their perspectives and learn to manage in
an international context.  Students are
not required to pay any academic fees at the partner university. All students
can apply for the exchange programs – Applicants are required to submit
academic records, CV, and a Statement of Purpose and attend a selection
interview conducted by a panel of faculty members.
