Revised pay as per 7th Central Pay Commission for the post is Level- 7 of Pay Matrix (Civilian employees) with Entry Pay Rs 44900/-, replaced against Pay Band Rs. 9300- 34800/- with Grade Pay Rs. 4600/- of 6th Central Pay Commission

ESIC Recruitment Eligibility

Education/Experience

Essential

1. A degree of a recognised University (Preference will be given to the graduates in Commerce/Law/Management)

2. Working knowledge of computer including use of office suites and database

Desirable

Three years’ service in a Government Organisation or Corporation or Government Undertaking or Local Body or Scheduled Bank etc.

Nationality

A candidate must be either: (a) a citizen of India, or

(b) a subject of Nepal, or

(c) a subject of Bhutan, or

(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the Ist January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or

(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar ), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Age

Between 21 to 27 years as on the closing date 05.10.2018.

ESIC Scheme of Examination

The examination process is spread out across 3 phases as follows

ESIC Recruitment Examination Phase I 

  1. Phase –I is qualifying in nature and marks will not be reckoned for final merit.
  2. For each wrong answer, there will be a negative marking of one fourth of the mark assigned to that question.
  3. The candidates will be shortlisted for Phase-II in the ratio of 1:10 i.e. about 10 times the number of vacancies in each category on the basis of their performance in Phase – I.

ESIC Recruitment Examination Phase II

  1. The marks obtained in Phase – II will be considered for final selection.
  2. For each wrong answer, there will be a negative marking of one fourth of the mark assigned to that question.
  3. The candidates will be shortlisted for Phase-III in the ratio of 1:5 i.e. about 5 times the number of vacancies in each category on the basis of their performance in Phase – II.

ESIC Recruitment Examination Phase III

Computer Skill Test and Descriptive paper will be qualifying in nature. Marks obtained will not be reckoned for merit ranking.

How to Apply for ESIC Social Security Officer/Manager Gr-II/Superintendent

  • Candidates have to go to the ESIC website www.esic.nic.in and click on the option “APPLY ONLINE FOR RECRUITMENT TO THE POST OF SSO-2018 IN ESIC ” which will open a new screen.
  • To register application, choose the tab “Click here for Registration” and enter details.
  • A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should note down the Provisional Registration Number and Password.
  • Validate your details and Save your application by clicking the ‘Validate your details’ and ‘Save & Next’ button.
  • Candidates can proceed to upload Photo & Signature as per the specifications
