Premier institutes at Kota launch their own talent search
examinations across the country, hunting for bright minds and encouraging them. The high scorers also have cash prizes and foreign
trip rewards awaiting them.

Allen Career Institute begins the registrations for the
Tallentex 2016, for classes 5th to 11th standard
students. This pan India exam will be conducted on two days, 4th
October 2015 and 18th October 2015. The two hour test will be of
objective type covering Physics, Chemistry, Math and Mental Ability. The top
scorers will be awarded cash prizes, along with scholarships f up to 90% for
courses at Allen.

Following suit, Resonance Eduventures too announced
their fifth edition of the Student Talent Reward Test, popularly called as
StaRT. Every year STaRT filters the participants  through rigorous testing and has set examples
of transforming the top performers into rankers in JEE and other competitive
examinations.

STaRT is conducted for students of Class-VII to Class-XI of all
boards and any medium in Indian Territory and from schools outside India that
are affiliated to CBSE only. The exam will have only one and final stage that
will be held on 27th September
2015. It will be conducted in different categories (7th-10th and 11th Maths,
Biology and Commerce) across the study centres in around 76 cities all over the
country.

STaRT will be an objective test for 120 minutes with 75
questions of 4 marks each. All these questions will have negative marking and 1
mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. In each category, the questions
asked will be from the N.C.E.R.T. syllabus.

The prizes constitute NASA-USA Tour to National Winners of each
class; All India Rank-2 will get a reward of CERN-ESA-Europe Tour while AIR-3 will
be awarded with Science Centre-Singapore tour. Besides this, there are branded
laptops, tablet PCs, mobile phones and digital cameras for up-to 100 ranks in
each class.

Similarly, Career Point Institute Kota has also launched similar
Talent cum Scholarship test called CP Star 2016. Top scorers are yet again
entitled to various benefits, ranging from scholarships and cash rewards to
free hostel accommodation for coaching in Kota.

These exams are a way for the coaching classes to induct the
bright students, who seem to have the potential to crack the JEEs and other entrance exams into their
coaching classes.
