Currently, there is a large gap between the demand and availability of trained managerial resources with adequate knowledge and specialization in infrastructure management and the gap will widen significantly in future. According to a joint report by Project Management Institute (PMI) and global consultants KPMG, there will be a shortage of 3 million infrastructure professionals and experts by 2022.
With a view to bridge this talent crunch, Adani Group established the Adani Institute of Infrastructure Management (AIIM) in 2009. PGPIM
- AIIM offers a unique One Year Residential Post Graduate Programme in Infrastructure Management (PGPIM) launched under the leadership of Dr. Bakul Dholakia (former Director, IIM, Ahmedabad).
- PGPIM aims at preparing business leaders and professionals who are well equipped to face the challenges of managing the fast growing Infrastructure & Allied Sectors in leading economies.
- PGPIM involves intensive academic work through a carefully designed intensive course package that includes core as well as elective courses, comprehensive project and domestic study visit of infrastructure projects.
