The Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM-L), which is the conducting body of Common Admission Test (CAT) 2017, has extended the last date for registration till September 25. Earlier, the registration was supposed to end on September 20. This move will allow more management aspirants to register for the CAT 2017. The registration for CAT 2017 had begun on August 9. 

The registered candidates will be able to download their admit card from the official website from October 18. The examination will take place on November 26 in two slots of 180 minutes each. This year the candidates will get questions in both MCQ format as well as questions where they have to write the answers directly on screen. The official website would provide a tutorial for the aspirants to understand the examination pattern better from October 18.

CAT 2016 was taken up by over 2.3 lakh candidates and the extension in date for registration could mean more aspiring candidates registering themselves for the exam.
