The application for the Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test (APSET) 2019 will start from August 5, 2019 while the exam is scheduled on October 20. The notification for the APSET 2019 will be released on July 28 says Nageswara Rao, AU Vice-Chancellor on Saturday. The APSET is conducted for the promotion and recruitment of the post of a lecturer or an assistant in the states of Andhra Pradesh.

The notification will be provided on the official website – http://www.andhrauniversity.edu.in. Online registration for the APSET 2019 will begin from August 5 till September 12 without any late fee. However, the application can be submitted until September 19 with a late fee of Rs. 1,000 while an amount of Rs. 2,000 will be charged till September 26. For further delay, the candidate will be charged Rs. 5,000 till October 3.

To apply for the Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test (APSET) 2019, check the following steps:

  • For the application, candidates can visit the official site of Andhra University at http://www.andhrauniversity.edu.in.
  • Once landing in the homepage, press on the tab notification for 2019 APSET.
  • Download the notification and take a printout of the same.

The examination will be held at six regional centres. There will be two sessions of the exam, the first starting from 9:30 am to 10:30 am and the second from 11 am to 1 pm. The APSET will comprise of 30 subjects and a new course in visual arts.

The first paper will be common for all candidates, which will include English and Telugu languages. The second paper will include subjects like commerce, education, economics, political science, history, sociology and public administration. The question papers will be bilingual consisting of English and Telugu languages.
