    The AP Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) is conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Kakinada. This is an annual entrance examination held for B.Tech/B.Sc/B.Pharm admissions. The registration for the exam was announced on the 28th of February, 2018 and came to an end on 29th of March without late fee. However, it can be submitted till the 21st of April with an additional late fee.

    The AP EAMCET Hall Ticket 2018 was released on 18th April 2018 and it is available for download from the homepage of JNTU website. All registered candidates can download the AP EAMCET Hall Ticket 2018 until the date of the examination. The date of the examination is from April 22 to April 26. So the last date to download the hall ticket is until April 25.

    Carrying this AP EAMCET Hall Ticket 2018 to the examination centre is compulsory. The candidate must produce this Hall Ticket to the invigilator whenever it is asked for the verification purpose. Otherwise, the applicant will be considered disqualified. For downloading this Hall Ticket, the candidate will need their Registration Number and Date of Birth.

    Candidates can click on to the link given on the JNTU official website for downloading the AP EAMCET Hall Ticket 2018. They can fill in the asked details correctly to log in and view their hall ticket. The candidate must check if all the details provided in the AP EAMCET Hall Ticket 2018 is right. In rare cases, if the hall ticket has any mistakes, then the applicant will have to get them rectified by the conducting authority. This should be done quickly and must be finished before the date of the exam. When all the details are completely correct, they can take a printout of the AP EAMCET Hall Ticket 2018. This should only be carried to the examination centre. It is advisable that the print out is taken immediately after checking.

    The AP EAMCET Hall Ticket 2018 consists all the details including the Candidate’s registration number, roll number, biodata, category, gender and the Local Status. It also contains the name of the test centre, date and time of the examination and the signature of the candidate. The candidate must also carry an identity proof along with this AP EAMCET Hall Ticket 2018. They are supposed to carry the AP EAMCET 2018 application form too. They must ensure that they submit the recent photographs of themselves where ever necessary.

    The examination will be conducted for students from Andhra Pradesh or Telangana only. It will contain 160 Multiple Choice Questions in the related subjects. Candidates can take up this exam in Telugu or in English. Applicants from Hyderabad can take up in Urdu.

    This examination is one of the major entrances for agriculture and engineering in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The Telangana government takes a lot of measures in the state to conduct the examination without any difficulty. In the previous years, about 2 lakh aspirants from both the states have appeared for the examination. This year the number is expected to reach about 3 lakh.

    The preparations for the AP EAMCET test will include the clear understating of the concepts learnt in class 11 and 12. The engineering candidates will have to focus on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Each part will be of 40 marks each. There is no negative marking for the examination. For the students appearing for the Medical stream, should go through the all concepts in Biology, Physics and Chemistry. Working out the previous year question papers, sample papers and mock papers can help the candidates greatly. They will be aware of the pattern of the three-hour examination.

    As the exam is conducted at the end of April, candidates will have a lot of time to go through all the concepts once again before the examination. To avoid any kind of confusions in the examination centre, the candidates can change all the errors in their AP EAMCET Hall Ticket 2018. They can carry all the necessary stationary with them while calculators or other devices will not be allowed. Applicants should also make sure the application form carried to the centre is affixed by the Principal of the candidate’s institution. The caste certificate will be checked too.

    There are 7 engineering streams offered by the JNTU and the cut off for every stream varies every year. Also, 60 seats are allotted for each stream. The counselling procedures start as soon as the results are released in May. The medical counselling will take place after some months after the engineering is over.
