The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has rescheduled the date of counselling for Open Round Seat Allocation for MBBS 2019. The dates have been rescheduled to August 26 and August 27. The window for the online registration will begin from August 18 and will close on August 21. Earlier the date of counselling was 20th and 21st in the same month.
The new date for the counselling has been tweeted by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the candidates can register themselves on the official website that is aiimsexams.org.
The AIIMS has posted a notice for revising the date for the counselling on Twitter. The notice points out that a large number of candidates and guardians are expected to appear for the MBBS Open Round Counselling and ‘under prevailing circumstances’, AIIMS has decided to reschedule the date from August 20 and 21 to August 26 and 27.
It has also stated that the candidates who have already taken part in any AIIMS MBBS counselling 2019 need to sit back for their medical checkups that will take place on August 27 and August 28 and it will be held at New Delhi for all AIIMS.
As of now, the online registration for counselling 2019 is active and candidates are required to register themselves before the deadline, which is August 21, 2019. To register, candidates can follow the steps below.
- Candidates are required to visit AIIMS MBBS official website at http://mbbs.aiimsexams.org/#!.
- There, the candidate will have to press on the button Registration and Login with their ID.
- Once done, fill all the details and click submit.
Furthermore, a major fire broke into the teaching block of AIIMS on Saturday but there were no damage or loss of life. A total of 34 fire tenders have been employed in the service.
