The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released a mandatory notification, that is more like an eligibility criteria, on the official Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main portal. Candidates taking JEE Main 2017, should possess aadhar card issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India.

While filling the application form for JEE 2017, all candidates with Indian nationality must put in their aadhar identification number. They must also cross check the details mentioned on the card, and match it with their school records.

If there is any mismatch of details, candidates won’t be able to fill the application form for JEE Main 2017. If the details mentioned on the aadhar card do not match, aspirants must immediately get it corrected. Particulars that need to be matched are name, date of birth, and gender. If any of the aspirant does not have the card, then there is no solution to it, and they must apply for aadhar card as soon as possible.

Registration for JEE Main 2017 can only be done online, through the official portal; www.jeemain.nic.in.  Candidates can fill the application form for JEE Main 2017 from December 1, 2016 to January 3, 2017.
