K.J. Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research hosted its 4th International HR conference on the topic “Building Organizations of Tomorrow: Leadership Challenges of Human Capital in a Digital Workplace”. The event was coordinated by Humanist – The HR club of SIMSR. The two day event was scheduled for the 3rd and 4th of February, 2017 in association with California State University, San Bernardino College of Business and Public Administration and Association of Management Development Institutions in South Asia (AMDISA). The event was graced by dignitaries from across the world :
- Prof. Kristen Tardiff from the University of Arkansas, USA
- Prof. Lakshman R. Watawala, Professor of AMDISA
Day 1 comprised of an enlightening Workshop on Paper presentation by Prof. Tardiff followed by the formal inauguration of the event. This was followed by a Corporate and Consultant Round discussion on the aforementioned topic.
Day 2 comprised of paper presentations by Professors and Students from institutes across India. This was followed by a plenary session. The conference ended with award and certificate distribution followed by a closing speech by the faculties and guests present there.
