- For admission to all the courses offered excluding Ph.D are scores obtained in the previous qualifying exam.
- Shortlisted candidates may or may not be called for an interview by the YBN University.
- For Ph.D admissions, YBN University conducts its own entrance test for selection.
- Those who qualify for the entrance test or those who already have qualified for NET or JRF are called for an interview.

YBN University is a private university set up only recently in 2017 with Tribal Social Welfare Society, Ranchi as its supporting body.

YBN University Application Process
YBN University application process is directed on the web.
Candidates need to fill the form and pay the enlistment charge of Rs 1,500.
To fill the online structure, the process is as follows :
Stage 1: Visit the official site of YBN University.
Stage 2: Click on the ‘Affirmations and Exams’ tab and select ‘Apply Online’ from the menu.
Stage 3: You will be diverted to the page of the application structure.
Stage 4: Enter the details asked for and pay the application fee of Rs 1,500. Follow the guidelines given and enter the captcha code.
Stage 6: Once the form is filled, click on ‘Submit my application’.
